Description

I want to cut you open, see your colours run
I want to play I want to have a friend to have some fun
Don't be afraid, don't cry, just give in
This is the last time I'll see you again
So come on, relax, just sit still
You belong to me and you will
Keep quiet and look me in the eye
'Cause I wanna fuck you, wanna fuck you while you fucking die

"Cupcakes" by Futret

I no longer consider myself a part of the brony fandom, but I do on rare occasions enjoy drawing those little pastel coloured ponies that the internet just loves to beat to death.
Whilst looking through my old artwork for something to remake, I came across a certain picture of a pink pony with blood (not very noticeably) dripping from her lips. I pulled out my trusty tablet and said to myself, "Yeah, sure, I bet I can make it even more wonky looking."
So I repainted it.
Original can be found here if anyone's interested in seeing something ugly in all the wrong ways.

I actually really really like how it turned out. Digital painting is actually becoming very enjoyable for me and that's probably because I actually know what I'm doin with it now to a point and I almost feel encouraged enough to repaint and redraw a lot of older stuff, if only for the sake of seeing how much I've improved. It's reassuring as an artist to see improvement over the years. I helps you feel less static in where you currently are with your talent, and I'm pretty sure every artist not experiencing the Dunning–Kruger effect would appreciate knowing that even if they do see their work as terribly now, hey, man, it's phenomenally better then your older stuff.

EDIT: THIS THING STILL GETS FAVES TO THIS DAY. WHATS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE. GET SOME TASTE
